Just after 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021, Tukwila Police officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 400 block of Andover Park E. (map below).
Responding officers located an adult male with a gunshot wound in the parking lot and began performing life saving measures until the Tukwila Fire Department and medics arrived and took over. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police say that initial reports indicate the incident was from a dispute between several individuals that escalated to gunfire.
Officers detained one individual on the scene.
