Jennifer L. McCoy announced this week that she will be retiring from her position as Executive Director of Still Waters: Services for Families in Transition/Tukwila Weekend Snackpack.

McCoy “passed the baton” to Yuen Mei Lee effective Monday, Mar. 29, 2021.

“I commend the Still Waters Board of Directors for their excellent choice of my successor,” McCoy said.

The local non-profit has provided over 250,000 meals in the past six years to local kids, with the help of hundreds of volunteers serving as board members, storehouse workers, SnackPack assemblers, SnackPack delivers, Stuff the Bus workers, auction helpers, fundraisers, and, of course, donors of food and finances.

“This has been an amazing community response to a critical need in our city,” McCoy added. “And I fully expect that it will continue to serve our children struggling with housing and food insecurity.”

McCoy says she will be assisting until April 23 as she transitions into her new administrative duties.

“Stay tuned for an announcement about my retirement celebration. You are invited!”
