Thursday morning (Dec. 17th), Sound Transit held a “sneak peek” ride for the press on the section of the Link Light Rail between the Tukwila and Sea-Tac Airport stations (which opens this Saturday), and Photographer Michael Brunk was able to stowaway on board, where he took these pics:

First it was SeaTac Airport’s new third runway, and now KOMO News is reporting that Sound Transit’s new Link Light rail system is too loud.
According to the story, some local residents are complaining that the new Light Link rail system is too noisy.

Sound Transit has begun intensive testing of the light rail system, running trains from Tukwila International Blvd. Station to Stadium Station. This is in preparation for passenger service beginning Saturday, July 18th.
