A ribbon-cutting celebration and self-guided tour will mark the grand opening of the new 10,000 square foot Tukwila Library this Saturday, April 29, starting at 9:30 a.m. Join KCLS, community leaders, library staff, Friends of the Library, the Tukwila Library Advisory Board and area residents to celebrate this landmark occasion. Seattle Southside Chamber announces new partnership with South King Media
This week, the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce announced that it is forming a new media and marketing partnership with South King Media, publisher of six award-winning local news websites, including The B-Town (Burien) and Tukwila Blogs. “South King Media have been dedicated members of our Chamber since 2008, and we’re happy to announce our new partnership,” Andrea H. Sheriff’s Office conducts search in Tukwila for remains in Green River case
The King County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit, in conjunction with King County Search and Rescue, conducted an evidence search in Tukwila Saturday morning for victim remains of Green River killer Gary Ridgway. The area searched was on S. 178th Street, near I-5, south and west of the Southcenter Mall in Tukwila. As with the search last week near Duvall, this search was based on continuing re-evaluation and analysis of information provided by Ridgway in 2003 regarding the location(s) of possible victims.
