Westfield Southcenter mall finally opened their long awaited dumpling outpost – Din Tai Fung – on Friday, April 21.

The event was preceded by a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

Din Tai Fung was originally a food chain in Taiwan, but has since spread to 11 other countries. This is their 4th outpost in Washington, with the other three having been built in Pacific Place, Bellevue, and the U Village.

While famous for its dumplings and potstickers, they also serve soups, fried rice, and wontons.

You can find Din Tai Fung at the former Rainforest Cafe location.
