Bookseller Borders, Inc. annouced that it will unveil one of its new concept stores at Westfield Southcenter Mall in July.
The store will be one of 14 new concept stores that the Ann Arbor, Mich.-based bookstore chain plans to open in 2008.
Borders’ new store concept will allow customers to create their own CDs and publish their own books at the store’s digital center.
“With its many avid book, music and movie lovers — together with its vibrant culture and rich history — Tukwila is a wonderful community for a concept store, and we are anxious for customers to start enjoying all that the store will offer this summer,” said Vince Vizza, vice president of real estate for Borders Group, in a statement.
The 26,000-square-foot store will also serve Seattle’s Best Coffee.
