TUKWILA – Kayakers paddling the Duwamish River spotted a corpse on the riverbank Friday afternoon in Tukwila.
The body was spotted just before 4pm on a riverbank opposite the 6400 block of South 143rd Street, a Tukwila police spokesperson said in a statement.
King County Medical Examiner’s Office staff and Tukwila police were called to the scene. The cause of death was not immediately apparent.
Authorities did not release the identity of the deceased Friday night.
