Foster High SchoolTUKWILA – Tukwila’s Foster High School was closed and students sent home Thursday while police investigated a bomb threat.

A teacher found a piece of paper with a threatening message in a classroom at 11:15 a.m. Thursday.

School officials called police, who then evacuated the building and sent students home, district spokeswoman Jan Landes said.

Police found some graffiti in the building, but no bomb, she said. The school, at 4242 S 144th St., is expected to reopen Friday.
