Former GM Of Residence Inn Tukwila Turns Self In


Residence Inn TukwilaTUKWILA – A former general manager of the Residence Inn in Tukwila has turned himself into federal authorities after investigators say he took $1.4 million.

Brian Michael Fleet is accused of taking checks that guests would mail in for their rooms and then putting the money into his own personal account.

The conduct allegedly occurred between 1999 and 2005.

Fleet has been wanted since November 2006 and is making his first federal court appearance in Seattle on Monday afternoon.

    Brian Michael Fleet’s fake name was Wendell Smith while working at the Best Western Hollywood Hills. He hid under this identity for over a year before he was caught.
